Baseball (Majors and Minors):
- Expect 2–3 days per week of baseball (games and practices).
- Coaches will provide game and practice schedules.
- Batting helmets require face guards.
- Any non-metal baseball cleats are fine.
- Bats must be USABat Standard bats.
- Lincoln Little League provides uniforms: hat, pants, team shirt, and socks.
- Uniforms are to be worn during games.
- Boys must wear a sports cup.
- Provide plenty of water/drink for your child, especially on hot days.
- Parents should help their children with any sunscreen or bug spray.
- Dick’s Sporting Goods and Manny’s Sports in Cumberland carry a wide variety of baseball and softball equipment.
Minors A Instructional:
6 year olds (boys and girls) that have
played one year of T-Ball or are in Kindergarten or 1st grade with some experience equivalent to T-Ball. This
division is instructional. Kids learn all the same skills as Teeball in an instructional game setting. Kids hit off
the tee, use softee balls and wear helmets. Kids play games in Single A Instructional against other teams. Coaches
will stop the play to instruct kids how to hit, hold the bat, catch a ball,
etc.
Commitment: 2–3 days per week. Schedule set by
coach.

Minors AA:
7 year olds, similar to Minors A instructional. The
first half of the season is coach pitch with softee balls. At mid-season, kid pitch is
introduced.
Commitment: 2–3 days per week. Practice schedule set by coach. Game schedule
set by league.

Woods
Minors AAA:
Ages 8–9. 6 inning regulation Little League games
(or time limit reached). Kid pitch, hard balls and umpires.
Commitment: 2–3 days per week.
Practice schedule set by coach. Game schedule set by league.
Fields: Sam Moore (Lonsdale Elementary School) and Little Fenway Park
Majors:
Ages 10–12. 6 inning regulation Little League games. Kid
pitch, hard balls and umpires.
Commitment: 3 days per week. Practice schedule set by coach.
